The Youth Matters is a community for people aged 18–32. These Community Guidelines explain the behaviour expected from everyone using our platform.
1. Be Respectful
Communicate respectfully, even when you disagree.
Do not target people with insults, humiliation, harassment or intimidation.
2. No Hate or Discrimination
Do not attack or promote hostility against people based on protected or personal characteristics.
3. No Threats or Violence
Threats of violence, encouragement of violence, credible intimidation or content intended to facilitate violence are prohibited.
4. No Harassment or Stalking
Repeated unwanted contact, stalking, intimidation, targeted harassment and abusive behaviour are prohibited.
5. Respect Privacy
Do not publish or distribute another person's government ID, phone number, home address, private messages, financial information, passwords, private photographs, live location or other private information without appropriate permission.
6. Consent Matters
Respect personal boundaries and consent. Non-consensual intimate content, sexual coercion, sexual extortion and sexual harassment are prohibited.
7. Protect the 18–32 Community
The Youth Matters is restricted to individuals aged 18–32.
Do not help an under-18 person access the platform, misrepresent your age, circumvent age verification, use another person's identity, or help another person bypass platform eligibility controls.
8. No Scams or Fraud
Do not use the platform to defraud users, solicit money deceptively, promote fraudulent investments, conduct identity fraud, impersonate organisations or individuals, operate fake employment schemes, or conduct other deceptive activity.
9. No Illegal or Harmful Activity
Content or activity that facilitates unlawful conduct or poses a serious safety risk may be removed and may result in account action.
10. No Spam or Platform Manipulation
Do not mass-message users, operate deceptive automated accounts, artificially manipulate engagement, repeatedly post irrelevant promotional material, abuse reporting systems, or attempt to interfere with platform operations.
11. Authenticity
Do not impersonate another person, organisation or The Youth Matters representative. Do not create misleading accounts for fraudulent or harmful purposes.
12. Intellectual Property
Do not upload content you do not have the right to use. Respect copyright, trademarks and other intellectual-property rights.
13. Enforcement
Breaking these Guidelines may lead to:
- Content removal
- Warning
- Feature restrictions
- Temporary suspension
- Permanent account termination
- Referral to competent authorities where appropriate.
The action taken will depend on the nature and seriousness of the violation.
14. Appeals
Where an appeal mechanism is available, users may request a review of eligible enforcement decisions by writing to support@theyouthmatters.com.

If you see something that violates these Guidelines, report it through support@theyouthmatters.com

We encourage users to report genuine safety concerns promptly.
